"Bruce worked for me as Director Facilities at a major operation, with six large hangars and nine total buildings. Bruce showed the technical expertise and attention to detail one would expect of a Professional Engineer but more importantly he showed a passion and talent for efficiency. Bruce set the vision and executed the annual Facilities Master Plan and quickly evolved it from a corrective maintenance focus to a focus on facility improvement and cost saving initiatives. Bruce also initiated a study of the compressed air requirements for the main hanger complex, that resulted in replacement of the fixed screw air compressors with a variable speed compressor and receiver. The payback period was less than one year. Bruce prepared strong business cases, in competition with the many production projects that were being considered at that time."
